Charles Tenney
After completing his duty as a United States Army Sergeant, Charles went on to attend the University of Texas in Arlington, where he graduated with a marketing degree. Charles A. Tenney’s transportation industry experience includes owning Dallas’s first airport share ride service, and also his own courier and limousine companies.
He is currently serving as a member for many national as well as regional transportation industry associations including the Texas Business Brokers Association (TABB) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA).
With 37 years gaining knowledge and experience in the transportation industry, Charles has consulted and assisted in many sales nationwide. In fact, Charles can claim the honor of having facilitated the most business sales globally. A regular speaker at national, along with regional trade sales, Charles has also been featured several hundred times in leading industry magazines.
Charles and his wife, Tina have been married for 38 years. He enjoys taking his Harley out for a ride and family hiking excursions.
Spencer Tenney
Spencer Tenney decided to join the Tenney Group’s leading team of transportation industry experts in 2002. To it, he brought his own experience and accreditations.
He currently holds the title of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) obtained through the International Business Brokers Association. Nationally, he also holds the special distinction of being the only professional intermediary and business broker who also serves as a specialist and CBI in the transportation industry.
Before joining forces with the Tenney Group, Spencer owned his own music publishing company and served the medical world as a consultant. He studied at Cornell University and played football there. He then attended the University of Texas in Austin where he earned a degree in public communications.
Spencer has assisted in 30+ acquisitions and business sales nationwide. He has been a speaker at several national trade shows and printed in multiple transportation industry magazines.
Spencer and Lauren, his wife, currently reside in Nashville, TN.
